Authorities investigate alleged inappropriate conduct by several female staff members at Central Mountain Middle School

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE FROM CLINTON COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY DAVE STROUSE AND MILL HALL BOROUGH POLICE DEPARTMENT:

MILL HALL PA – Late last week, The Clinton County District Attorney’s Office and Mill Hall Borough Police received a report alleging that a middle school student had been engaged in inappropriate contact with several adult female staff members at Central Mountain Middle School. This contact has not been alleged to have occurred on school property or during school hours. The matter remains under investigation by Mill Hall Borough Police.

Law enforcement has been informed that all staff members associated with the investigation, except one individual who is no longer with the district, have been placed on leave by Keystone Central School District. Further comment will be made upon the conclusion of the investigation.

The release from authorities posted Wednesday afternoon added: Please note that the above release is a statement on the status of an active investigation and in no way should be interpreted as a conclusion of guilt. All individuals alleged, suspected, or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a Court of Law.
