District Judge Mills Injured in Fall

MILL HALL – Renovo area district judge Frank P. Mills was seriously injured in a fall sometime Tuesday afternoon. He was Life-Flighted to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where a spokesperson said his condition is critical.

Clinton County Court administrator Don Powers released a Wednesday morning statement on the incident:

 LOCK HAVEN – Magisterial District Judge (MDJ) Frank P. Mills of Renovo, suffered a serious injury Tuesday in a fall at a construction site in Mill Hall.

Judge Mills was treated at the scene by Goodwill Hose Ambulance and transported to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville by life-flight for observation and treatment.  

Clinton County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Craig P. Miller and Judge Michael F. Salisbury expressed their concern with Judge Mills’ condition and ask that everyone keep Judge Mills and his family in their thoughts and prayers during this trying time.

Judge Miller would like to assure the public that the Magisterial District Court in Renovo remains open and servicing the needs of the citizens of Western Clinton County.  MDJ John W. Maggs of Mill Hall and MDJ Keith G. Kibler of Lock Haven will step in to cover Judge Mills’ absence in both his district office and the Central Court located at the Courthouse in Lock Haven.

Mills began serving his third full term as Renovo area district judge in January of this year.
