PennDOT announces temporary overnight closedown for recently reopened Flemington Bridge
FLEMINGTON, PA – PennDOT announced Thursday it will be closing the recently reopened Flemington Bridge for the overnight period for three days, beginning this Saturday and running through Monday into Tuesday morning.
The PennDOT posting said the closure will be instituted to “remove the painters containment.”
Closure hours will be:
Saturday 8 p.m. to Sunday 6 a.m.
Sunday 8 p.m. to Monday 6 a.m.
Monday 8 p.m. to Tuesday 6 a.m.
The Route 150 link between Flemington and Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township had been reopened to one-lane, traffic light-controlled traffic on Monday of this week. It had been taken out of use over most of the summer for unanticipated repair work.
PennDOT announced recently all repair work should be completed by Thanksgiving.
