CU-Lock Haven to host Clinton County Connects Career Fair

LOCK HAVEN, PA – In an effort to empower jobseekers and strengthen the local workforce, Commonwealth University-Lock Haven will host the Clinton County Connects Career Fair on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Parsons Union Building (PUB), 650 Railroad St.

The Clinton County Connects Career Fair is a partnership between PA CareerLink Clinton County, the Clinton County Government and the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and aims to bridge the gap between jobseekers and the wide array of career and training opportunities that are available in the region.

With participation from more than 40 local businesses representing sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, construction, education, recreation, service, financial and government, this event promises to be a significant resource for individuals seeking employment options, career changes, improved job prospects or supplemental income.

Opportunities presented at the career fair will span the spectrum from entry-level to technical and professional positions.

Companies attending the fair include: Wire Rope Works, PMP, TruckLite, STEP, A4TD, OVR, Commonwealth of PA, The Meadows, USP Lewisburg, Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living, UPMC, YMCA – Lock Haven, Glenn O’Hawbaker, First Quality Products, Eagle Ridge Personal Care Home, Clinton County Correctional Facility, H&R Block, BAC Local 5, Bucktail Medical Center, Home Instead, Arcadia Home Health Care, CATA, Juniper Village, Keystone Central School District, PA Department of Corrections, Garner Behavior Services, ESS, Central Intermediate Unit 10, Hope Enterprises, First Quality Tissue, Spherion Staffing, Cintas and First Commonwealth Bank.

Free parking will be available in Lot 9, directly bordering the PUB. The first 20 registered job seekers will receive a $10 gas card as a token of appreciation for their participation.
