Bucktail tennis powers past Montgomery in Mid Penn action, 5-0

FARWELL, PA- Bucktail tennis remained perfect on Monday by dispatching Montgomery in quick fashion, 5-0. The win improves the Lady Bucks to 8-0 on the season and 2-0 in Mid Penn Conference play.

Bucktail singles players played strong with Alexis Lowery, Gigi Balchun and Mak Wagner all picking up victories. In doubles play, both Bucktail tandems continued their dominant play.

Eva Sockman and Kendall Wagner won, as did Kedda Bissman and Giada DeMarte. Both Bucktail doubles teams have yet to taste defeat in the 2023 season.

Montgomery fell to 3-3 on the season, but still very much in the fight for a district playoff berth.

Bucktail will next be in action on Tuesday when they travel to Galeton to meet the NTL’s Cowanesque Valley.
