Hoop Shoot Winners

RENOVO – This year marked the 40th year for the Annual Elks Hoop Shoot, held at the Western Clinton County Recreation Center The Hoop Shoot is the national free throw shooting contest for children ages 8 through 13. Winners of the Hoop Shoot above are from left: Brett Mason, Maddesyn Mason, Dylan Cross, Connor Mason, Gunner Sockman and Cameron Sockman. The Renovo Elks Lodge No. 334 would like to thank all of the local children that participated in our Annual Hoop Shoot Contest. Hoop Shoot co-coordinator Joe Riggle and wife, Joan, did a splendid job putting this year’s contest together. Although this year’s contest saw a decline in participation, competition was still intense. Each of the contestants came with a desire to win and a sense of good sportsmanship.
