Overwhelming support for Jersey Shore football player
JERSEY SHORE, PA – Students from all across central Pennsylvania and in many other communities across the state offered their support to Max Engle and his family. Engle is a senior at Jersey Shore High School and collapsed near the end of the Jersey Shore game at Selinsgrove last Friday.
Since then, the young man has been hospitalized, his medical prognosis described as not good.
Area schools offered their support on Thursday, where students and staff were encouraged to wear orange, Jersey Shore’s primary color, included those in Jersey Shore, Keystone Central and Williamsport, among many others.
Jersey Shore has postponed the Bulldogs’ scheduled game at home Friday with Shikellamy until a later date.
