Local director of Croda to keynote Clinton County Economic Partnership Dinner
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Economic Partnership has announced that Chris Barnett, Site Director for the Croda Inc. operations in Mill Hall and Lamar Township, will be the keynote speaker at the Partnership’s upcoming annual dinner.
The event, scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 25, will be held at the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center on the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven campus. There will be a social hour beginning at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
Barnett recently joined Croda’s Clinton County facilities after working for seven years in New Castle, Delaware, where he managed the largest of Croda’s 24 manufacturing sites around the globe.
Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, Barnett brings nearly 30 years of experience to his new role of managing Croda’s long-time Mill Hall operation along Draketown Road in Bald Eagle Township, as well as the company’s recent acquisition of the former BJ Services facility at the Partnership’s William Garbrick Sr. Lamar Township Business Park.
Barnett is a graduate of Penn State University, where he received both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in chemical engineering. His career has spanned numerous roles in R&D and manufacturing in a variety of industries including polymers, pharmaceuticals, organic peroxides, corrugated packaging, and specialty chemicals.
