SOUTH RENOVO—Bucktail Lady Bucks basketball star Maria Morgan recently surprised workers at Hope Enterprises, Inc in South Renovo with a visit.

Diane Coleman, Program Supervisor at Hope, had asked Maria to stop by.  Arrangements were made and Maria arrived at the Workshop last Friday, aware that some of the workers were attending the Lady Buck home games.

With excitement from some of the workers, she was greeted with hugs. She explained her basketball career as well as her plans to attend St. Vincent College in Latrobe this fall.  Maria took time to sign a picture and give out Bucktail towels to each of the workers and staff.  They
wished Maria the best success for each game and her future plans and also thanked her for the visit.

Morgan, Clinton County’s all-time leading basketball scorer, was honored by the Clinton County Commissioners last week as they approved a “proclamation of excellence” in her honor. They planned to present it to her at the Lady Bucks’ home game on Wednesday of this week.
