Central Mountain girls tennis downs Lady Seals
SELINSGROVE, PA – The Central Mountain girls tennis team played through the heat on Tuesday to pick up a hard-earned 4-1 road win over Selinsgrove. Wildcat Coach Tom Zettle said, “We had to battle two opponents today. A very game Selinsgrove squad and the hot weather. I was very proud of the girls today. It was a real struggle in the heat but there was no quit in these girls. No. 1 doubles split the first two sets and battled back to take the third set. I’m guessing they will sleep well tonight. Addison Lindsay continues her dominate play at #1. Teresa Temple played a great match as she and Alaina Liesenfield went toe to toe, with Teresa prevailing. All in all a great match, very fun to watch.”
Central Mountain will be back in action Thursday at Williamsport.
