Strong doubles play keeps Lady Bucks tennis perfect

LIBERTY, PA- Bucktail received a huge boost from both of their doubles tandems at NP-Liberty on Tuesday afternoon to secure a 3-2 victory and remain undefeated.

Senior Alexis Lowery also remained undefeated with a dominating 6-0, 6-3 victory over the Lady Mounties’ Marissa Griess at number one.

Gigi Balchun and Mak Wagner each dropped their singles contests before the Bucktail doubles would secure the victory.

Kedda Bissman and Giada DeMarte teamed up to pick up the 6-1, 6-4 win. Eva Sockman and Kendall Wagner’s 6-2, 6-3 win would lock up the win for the Lady Bucks.

Bucktail will be back in action against Cowanesque Valley in Farwell on Thursday.
