Lock Haven Summer Concert series announces 25th anniversary schedule

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The City’s Summer Concert silver anniversary schedule has been announced. Representatives from the concert committee unveiled the summer schedule at a Thursday evening event at the newly renovated Fallon Alley; the occasion was a Clinton County Economic Partnership “Time-Out” sponsored by Downtown Lock Haven, Inc., and the City of Lock Haven.

The concert season will begin on Friday, June 16 with an appearance by Flashback at Triangle Park. The first event at the Corman Amphitheatre will be Saturday, June 24 with Trip the Light performing. The first presentation at the Main and Grove Streets stage will be Friday, June 30 with Mix Tape.

Four concerts this season, June 30, July 28, Aug. 11 and Aug. 25, will be tied in with Downtown Lock Haven special events on those days. The Aug.11 show with Velveeta will be part of the annual LH JAMS weekend which will also see the B-Street Band, a Bruce Springsteen tribute band, perform in the downtown on Saturday, Aug. 12.

Kasey Campbell, the city’s Director of Community Life, read off the list for the summer concerts, 18 in all. She also displayed commemorative 25th anniversary concert t-shirts which will be available for sale at this summer’s concerts.
