CM boys edge BEA in track opener, first victory in five years

WINGATE, PA – The Central Mountain boys track opened the new season with a road win over Bald Eagle Area on Thursday, the final 77-73 in favor of the visitors and it was a special victory.

For the Wildcat boys, it was the first meet win in five years. A pleased coach Ellie Sikorskas said, “The Wildcats were determined, motivated, and started off with a great performance. They are a great group of kids and showed everyone support. From the field events to the track these boys competed hard and came out on top.”

Next up is a trip to Shikellamy High School Tuesday, April 4, the contest set for a 4 p.m. start.
