Obituary
David W. Pick, Jr., 38, of Centre Hall, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 27, 2023.
Born September 17, 1984 in Lock Haven, he was the son of David W. (Trisha) Pick, Sr. of Mill Hall and Tina M. Welch (Daniel) Stover of Centre Hall.
Dave was a 2003 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School.
Following graduation, Dave enlisted in the United States Army Reserves and served in Iraq prior to his Honorable Discharge.
Dave was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed watching college wrestling, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins and the Cincinnati Reds.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by five siblings, Tasha (Travis) Hendershot of Howard, Daniel (Cassandra) Pick of Centre Hall, Cole (Ashley) Hanley of Beech Creek, Mikala Hanley of Howard and Myles Stover of Centre Hall; his paternal grandmother, Judy (Merle) Joy of Bellefonte; his maternal grandmother, Sarah Welch of Centre Hall; his great-grandmother, Florence Warren of Lock Haven; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Dave was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wayne Pick; maternal grandfather, Boyd Welch; and three uncles, Travis Pick, Jay Welch and Tony Welch.
A Military Honor Guard Service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 7 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Wounded Warriors Project.
