It’s Wildcats v Wildcats on the Hardwood (Video Report)
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – After three consecutive road trips to Shikellamy, Mid-West and Milton, Central Mountain was ready for a home game with Mifflinburg tonight.
The Wildcats at 2-2 on the season were looking to improve their record with a little inspiration from the home fans. That they did, drubbing Mifflinburg 69-49.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 23-10 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. In the second quarter CM outscored Mifflinburg 16-6 to take a 39-16 lead at the half.
During the second half, Mifflinburg did manage to outpace the Wildcats 33-30 … but the outcome was never in jeopardy.
Wes Jolly led the Wildcats with 18 points closely followed by Alex Garbrick with 16. Brody Baker contributed 10 points while Landon Breon and Cole Reeder each added 6. Nick More tallied 4 points and Wes Bombarger had 3. Ty Meeker, Dakota McCloskey and Wyatt Koch each scored 2 points.
Net, the Wildcats will take their 3-2 record on the road for a trip to Shamokin on Monday.
