Bucktail Topples Southern Columbia 61-51 (Video Report)
FARWELL – Bouncing back from their only loss in this new season, the Lady Bucks off started a bit slow, struggling to find consistency in their offense. Soon they settled in to set the tone that would offer them a slim five point edge by halftime.
Then in the second half, Bucktail was able to stretch that lead further to create a comfort zone that allowed them to dictate the pace and tempo which created more opportunities for turnovers and free throws advancing their efforts.
Once again, Maria Morgan paced the Bucktail with 29 and Tiffany Werts playing strong in the paint scoring 14. Alaina Trip contributed 8 points followed by Natasha Peck with 4 with Emily Mills and Abby Ransom each scoring 3 points.
Next up, the Lady Bucks travel to Benton on Saturday.
