Lady Bucks Edged by Bloom 62-56

bucks-basketballBLOOMSBURG – The Lady Bucks suffered a slow start offensively against Bloomsburg trailing by seven after one quarter then yielding another 10 points in the second stanza which put them behind 38-21 at halftime.

Though Bucktail found their rhythm in the second half outscoring the hosts 35-23 it was’t quite enough falling 62-56.

Maria Morgan set the pace with 28 points followed by Tiffany Werts with 16. Alaina Tripp contributed 6, Emily Mills netted 4 and Shae Cowfer added 2.

The loss sets the Lady Bucks record to 3-1 on the season and next travel to Muncy on Monday for another tight game.
