Lock Haven wrestling set for Princeton Open on Sunday

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Bald Eagles are set to open the 2022-23 season at the Princeton Open on Sunday.

The Lock Haven Division I men’s wrestling team begins the defense of their 2022 Mid-American Conference (MAC) championship this Sunday when the Bald Eagles travel to the Princeton Open.

As the Bald Eagles approach the new season, InterMat Wrestling has the trio of Anthony Noto, Ashton Eyler and Isaac Reid ranked among the top-33 at their respective weight class.

The Bald Eagles next outing comes against No. 1 Penn State on Friday, Nov. 11 in historic Rec Hall at 7 p.m. Lock Haven travels to Liberty High School on Saturday, Nov. 12 to face off with North Carolina State in the Journeymen Wrangle-Mania at 1 p.m.

In all, the 2022-23 schedule features six home duals, including matchups with non-conference opponents Davidson, West Virginia and Navy, as well as MAC showdowns against Rider, Bloomsburg and Edinboro.

The first home dual of the season is set for Thursday, Dec. 1 vs. Davidson. That match will serve as Lock Haven’s 2022-23 ‘White-Out’ match. Lock Haven will also host a tournament in late-January as the exciting 2022-23 schedule features eight home events.
