Miss Bucktail Isabella English crowned 2022 Flaming Foliage Queen

FARWELL, PA – It was a whirlwind Saturday for the contestants in the 73rd annual Flaming Foliage Festival and the daylong events concluded Saturday night at the Bucktail High School where Miss Bucktail Isabella English, was crowned the queen.
Isabella Fiala English was born on August 6, 2005, she is the daughter of Emily and Philip English of Renovo and has a sister, Lola. Isabella is a member of the National Honor Society-President, Student Council, Varsity club, Environmental club, Class Secretary, and plays basketball and tennis. She enjoys lifeguarding in the summer, hanging out with friends, loves her animals and also belongs to the Central PA Tennis Club. Isabella plans to attend college to become a pediatrician. She was escorted by Ashton Intallura.
Miss Central Mountain Sydney Redmon was the 2nd Runner Up and Miss Photogenic. Sydney, Born on November 16, 2004, she is the daughter of Jennifer and Casey Redmon of Lock Haven, PA and has a younger brother. Sydney is a member of the National Honor Society, German Honor Society, Drama club, Choir, nd Interact. She also enjoys singing, and spending time with family and friends. She plans to become a certified ultrasound tech. Kurt Yap will be her escort.
Miss Congeniality and First Runner Up went to Miss Smethport Alyn Thomas, Community Service Award was given to Miss Coudersport Ava Wahlers. Co-Mr. Congeniality went to three escorts, Mr. Dubois Alvis Uong, Mr. Johnsonburg Dawson Smiley, and Mr. Williamsport Tyler Schneider and the Alex Rauch Memorial Award was given to Mr. Port Allegany Miska Young.
Festival events related to the queen selection were condensed into one day, Saturday. The arts and crafts at the Flaming Foliage lot will continue on Sunday.
The annual parade attracted thousands of visitors to Renovo Saturday afternoon.
