73rd Flaming Foliage Festival Parade, at hand

RENOVO,PA – With only a few days away, the 73rd Annual PA State Flaming Foliage Festival parade will be stepping off at 1:45 PM on Saturday, October 15.

The parade, which is a huge highlight of the Flaming Foliage Festival, will be starting at the usual location on the corner of 3rd Street and Huron Avenue (Route 120) in Renovo.

This year’s parade will be live-streamed by The Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park at the old Family Dollar parking lot along Huron Avenue, and will be shared online via The Greater Renovo Heritage Park Facebook Page and The Record/therecord-online.com Facebook Page.

With dozens of floats expected, 25 new vendors in the Craft and Vendor section, and almost 30 queen contestants participating, the Flaming Foliage Festival is always a fun and exciting time to visit Renovo.
Parade Marshal Dalton Perry will lead the parade this year.

Dalton Perry

Dalton is the son of Carrie and DJ Perry of Renovo. He is currently a sophomore at Bucktail Area High School. He wrestles for Central Mountain High School and was a State Champion at 126lbs. Dalton also holds the record in Clinton County for the most wins by a freshman.

He trains at M2 training center in Pleasant Gap, and NLWC in State College. He is committed to continue his athletic and academic career at Penn State University.

In his spare time he loves to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family.
