Two candidates for KCSB vacancy

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Two residents within the Keystone Central School Board’s Region VIII have offered to fill that region’s board vacancy.

The sitting school board held a special meeting prior to the board work session Thursday night to interview the two candidates. They are Dr. Fredrick “Rick” Schulze and Tom Cannon. Both then attended the board work session that followed the special meeting.

The board will vote at their meeting of Thursday, Sept. 8 for the replacement for board member Boise “Bo” Miller who had resigned last month.

Region VIII covers Castanea and Bald Eagle Townships and Flemington Borough.
