PennDOT announces likely delays Thursday for Route 220 bridge near Salona interchange
LOCK HAVEN, PA – PennDOT is alerting area motorists that delays are likely Thursday as bridge preservation work begins on Route 220, near Salona.
As crews set signals and establish traffic control, on a bridge over Fishing Creek just south of the Salona interchange, motorists should expect traffic stops in each direction for as long as 15 minutes at a time. Motorists should add some extra travel time to their regular routine Thursday as traffic stops are expected from 7 a.m. to noon.
HRI, Inc. of State College, PA is the contractor for this $3.5 million job to address a total of three bridges.
That section of Route 220 is two-lanes only from Interstate 80 to the Salona interchange.
