Lock Haven’s Church/Jay Street intersection site of Monday traffic congestion
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Motorists traveling into Lock Haven on Paul Mack Boulevard or east on E. Church Street have encountered traffic congestion on Monday afternoon as work continues on the installation of new traffic signals at the Church Street/Jay Street intersection. A crew was putting down new amesite on Monday, the work expected to continue into the later afternoon.
Southbound traffic was being detoured from Jay Street at its intersection with E. Main Street, the Church to Main Street section closed to traffic.
The work is part of the state-funded traffic signal improvement project, a $2.7 million upgrade that began in early October of last year and is expected to continue until the end of August. 10 traffic signals upgrades are taking place: M&B Services LLC of Clarion, PA, is the contractor.
