Clinton 12s claim sectional softball crown

TOWANDA, PA – The Clinton 12 softball team battled its way back from elimination on Saturday, taking a “winner-take-all game” from Tunkhannock by a 7-4 count and claiming a sectional crown and a berth in the state tournament later in July.

Manager Shawn Weaver’s team had come back with a 12-2 win on Friday against Tunkhannock and took the Section 3 crown on Saturday. The state tournament will be held in Indiana from July 13-19.
