Spiffy Wildcat Café awaits Central Mountain Middle School students next month

MILL HALL, PA – It will be a new look Wildcat Café when students return to the Central Mountain Middle School on Aug. 31 for the start of the new school year.

Keystone Central School District Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin provided an update on the updated CMMS cafeteria at the school board work session Thursday night. She said the improvements were carried out through a cooperative effort among district Food Services Supervisor Sharon Berger, food service staff, middle school Principal Dave Peters and students.

Martin said the “new digs” at the middle school should help promote school spirit.

Principal Peters gave therecord-online a look on Friday and said the collective effort involving students will serve “to take lunch in a different direction.” He said more “grab-and-go” options will be available to expedite the standing in line process, allowing students to get their meals as quickly as possible.

The middle school cafeteria improvements follow a similar upgrade at the Central Mountain and Bucktail High Schools.
