HERSHEY, PA – Central Mountain sophomore David Lindsay Saturday went where no Clinton County tennis player had gone before: the PIAA Class AAA state title.

Lindsay dominated his way to the title, taking the championship with a  4-6 6-4 6-3 win over Jake Patterson of South Fayette.

Earlier Saturday Lindsay advanced to the state finals by defeating District 1 champion and returning bronze medalist from last year’s championship Mikkel Zinder from Council Rock South, 6-3, 6-0.

Overall went 4-0 in his two days at the Hershey Racquet Club. His performance capped off a sophomore season in which he did not lose a match.
