LOCK HAVEN, PA – In celebration of Doctors’ Day 2022, UPMC Lock Haven recently donated $500 to Roads to Peace. The donation was made on behalf and in recognition of the enthusiastic care and compassion exhibited by the hospital’s medical staff.

“We have all been through so much since the start of the pandemic, and our staff have continually exhibited resilience and a can-do attitude no matter what came their way,” said Ron Reynolds, president, UPMC Lock Haven and UPMC Muncy. “We have all faced inevitable changes to our day-to-day lives and for many these changes may include making hard decisions. Roads to Peace is committed to supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and we are blessed to be able to give back as a small thank you for all that they do in the community.”

UPMC’s donation will be directed to the Roads to Peace in Lock Haven as it mirrors its work and mission of serving the community. This organization is a nonprofit providing quality services and community collaboration to promote safety and freedom from domestic and sexual violence by empowering individuals to define their own lives.
