Leadership Clinton County celebrates 16 new graduates

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Leadership Clinton County (LCC) held graduating ceremonies on Thursday to complete its 22nd year of the innovative training program. Participants spent the past nine months strengthening their leadership abilities to enhance the quality of life in Clinton County. Participants gained insight into the Clinton County community, developed individual and teambuilding skills and acquired the self-confidence needed to make the greatest impact to strengthen the local community.
During the graduation ceremony, participants received congratulatory citations from the Clinton County

Commissioners, as well as State Sen. Cris Dush and State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz. In addition, a plaque representing completion of the program was presented by Mike Flanagan, President & CEO of the Clinton County Economic Partnership.
The annual Wayne D. Briggs Award for 2022 was presented to Megan Dayhoff, who was selected by her classmates as someone who showed the most improvement throughout the program year. The award is given each year in memory of the late Wayne Briggs, a Leadership graduate and long-time community leader.
Selected by the class, Josh Boob served as graduation speaker during the ceremony. He spoke on his journey through the Leadership Clinton County program and all the unique opportunities he experienced over the past nine months.
Thursday’s event was held in the ballroom at Haywood’s on the Green.
Hosted by the Clinton County Economic Partnership, Leadership Clinton County is a comprehensive leadership development program for adults living and/or working in Clinton County. In the program’s 22-year history, almost 300 people have completed the training, and the 2022-23 LCC program will get underway in September with applications being accepted until July 1.
