LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven University will hold its 145th commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14. The Friday graduate ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Thomas Fieldhouse and the Saturday undergraduate ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. at Hubert Jack Stadium, both on the campus of LHU.
The speaker for both the graduate and undergraduate ceremonies will be Dr. Bashar Hanna, LHU interim president.

The commencement will be notable as it will be the final ceremony with the university formally a “stand-alone.” Effective July 1, LHU will become part of the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania, an integration of Lock Haven, Bloomsburg and Mansfield universities. State system officials have announced that all three schools will be able to retain their local identities, even as part of the new integration.
