CM’s Lindsay storms to D-6 tennis finals

ALTOONA, PA – Central Mountain sophomore David Lindsay is off and running in defense of his District 6 AAA individual tennis title at Altoona’s Mansion Park. Lindsay won both his quarterfinal and semifinal matches in straight sets on Tuesday. His performance advances the Wildcat to Wednesday’s 11 a.m. final.

Lindsay in 2021, as a freshman, became the first District 6 tennis champion in modern history.

Teammate Ethan Hall did not fare as well, losing his first-round match.

Round 1

Quarter-Finals

David Lindsay (CM)  def. Luke Mitchell  (Altoona)  6-0. 6-1

Semi-Finals

David Lindsay (CM). def. Mark Sandow (State College). 6-2. 6-0
