LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Skeleton Key Boutique will be open for business as usual on E. Main Street in Lock Haven on Monday after overcoming a midnight Saturday waterline break that damaged the first floor business. Owner Ashley Foltz told The Record it was an upstairs waterline that burst, flooding the store. Product lost, she said included jewelry, lotions and contents in the store’s checkout area but fortunately, she said, the bulk of the store’s inventory was not affected.

She said employees worked most of the night to remove the water and get it stopped and Sunday was spent going through inventory and putting the store back in order.

She said the business does not yet have an estimate on the loss and said luckily the building landlord caught the break quickly and got the water shut off. She said the owners “have been wonderful helping us get everything back in order.”

Foltz thanked the community for the response once word of the incident was on social media. “We are just fortunate to have wonderful landlords and friends that jump in and help us whenever needed! We have also felt the love of the community from our post.”
