“Active shooter “ incident in Pine Creek Township over

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, PA – Authorities say a Saturday aftenoon “active shooter” incident along Route 150 in Pine Creek Township is over and no shots were fired.

Initial word from authorities said the incident turned out to be of a mental health nature and no weapons were discharged.  As the incident unfolded,  Route 150 was blocked from near Chatham Run Feed Mill  eastwards toward Avis for an extended period, traffic re-routed while the matter was resolved.

Pine Creek Township and state police responded but additional details were not immediately available, other than word that the matter was resolved.
