Impromptu courthouse tour for Clinton County Community Connections
LOCK HAVEN, PA – An impromptu request to see a courtroom by Clinton County Community Connections participant Missy Brower lead Community Participation Supports Amy Peterson and Anaise Valdez to stop at the Clinton County Courthouse to ask if they could schedule a tour.
Court Administration quickly made plans for the participants, which consisted of Brower, Terry Smith and Carla Spalletta, to meet Judge Michael F. Salisbury and provide a Wednesday tour of the courtrooms, row offices and the 1860s era jail cells in the basement.
During the tour the three asked the Clinton County Sheriff Kerry Stover if they could be fingerprinted and handcuffed. Squeals of delight could be heard echoing through the hallways as each took their turn being handcuffed by Chief Deputy Jim Worden.
If your organization would like a tour of the courthouse, please contact Assistant Court Administrator Kayla Kahler at 570-893-4016 to make arrangements.
