Lock Haven’s downtown busy Saturday; parade at 6 p.m.

Retired Clinton County Commissioner Pete Smeltz and wife Deb are among those manning the Tri-County Church booth at Triangle Park. The church is providing hot chocolate, candy canes and children’s crafts there until parade time on Saturday.

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Downtown Lock Haven Inc. activities are underway Saturday, running through 9 p.m. The downtown business district was teeming with shoppers all day. Among the highlights is the Christmas Parade which will be streamed live on therecord-online.

Events include:
A family event will take place at Triangle Park starting at 12:30 p. m through 5 p.m. Hot Cocoa, candy canes and decorate your own ornament. Sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway and Tri-County Church North Central.

-Rich Schlesinger will be rocking out at Triangle Park with his acoustic guitar starting during the family event.

·Participating downtown businesses will be offering promos to attract customers in. Some participating businesses will be giving away buttons to attach to special downtown bags for promotional purposes.

·Participating businesses will have their windows decorated in a holiday movie they have chosen; viewers will get to vote the best decorated window.

Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse and family checked in with Downtown Lock Haven Manager Kira Rosamilia prior to shopping.

·The Downtown Lock Haven Inc. presents Triple H, Haven, Hollywood Holidays Parade at 6 p. m. Floats will be decorated in a holiday movie of the organization’s choice..

·At 7 p. m to 9 p.m. there is a surprise in Sarah’s Alley (located near Stella A’s)
