HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Thursday reported 6,637 new COVID-19 cases, the largest one-day increase in the past eight days.

Clinton County reported 27 new cases for a total of 5,676. In Centre County 54 new cases were recorded for a total of 21,928. Lycoming County added 81 new cases for a total of 18,278.

The state Thursday reported 96 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County increased by one for the third day in a row to 86.
