Wildcat Winter Craft Show Ready to Roll Nov. 20

By Christopher Miller

The Wildcat Winter Craft Show will be kicking off again this year after skipping 2020 due to circumstances we are all too familiar with.

It all started in the mid-90s when the event used to be held at the Mill Hall Middle School, which it quickly outgrew, then taking over Bald Eagle Nittany High School, present-day Central Mountain Middle School.

The Craft Show benefits the Central Mountain Indoor Color Guard and Majorettes which includes students in grades 6-12.

Attendees can expect it to be fairly similar to past events, “a great mix of homemade items, fashion and accessories lines, foods, crafts…a little bit of everything,” said event organizer Sunshine Kustaborder. “There will be some people outside as well, such as Kettle Korn and others who requested use of an outdoor space.”

While the event is still a week and a half away, so far 92 vendors and 110 spots (and counting) are already signed up and taken, but there is room for more.

“The deadline to apply to be a vendor is this Friday, November 12 and they can contact me, Sunshine, at 570-660-1588, spots are 10′ long and half the length of a school hallway, $30/spot and I sadly cannot guarantee that there will be electricity hookups at each spot,” Sunshine said. “We are also not allowed to have 2 of the same vendors there, such as 2 Paparazzi consultants, as there are usually stipulations in their contracts outlining this.”
