Lock Haven Halloween parade cancelled, judging set for Hope Hose Fire Hall

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Saturday morning showers have forced the cancellation of Lock Haven’s annual Halloween parade. But events will go on beginning at 10 a.m. at the Hope Hose Fire Company on E. Church Street.

Event organizers said costume and float judging, prize giveaways and refreshments will take place at the fire hall. Prizes and treats are being provided by downtown Lock Haven businesses and all are welcome.

The Saturday forecast has caused some area municipalities to move their trick-or-treating hours to Sunday evening. Local ghosts and goblins should check with their home municipality for further details.
