COVID case numbers update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Wednesday reported 4,178 new COVID-19 cases statewide.

The state said there are 2,838 hospitalized patients due to COVID-19, up 30 from Tuesday. 663 are in an intensive care unit, down 18 from Tuesday.

In Clinton County 28 new cases were reported on Wednesday, bringing the total to 4,917. Centre County saw an

increase of 47 on Wednesday to 20,521, while Lycoming County increased by 75 to 16,286.
The state Wednesday reported 142 new deaths, the most in one day since Oct. 13.The death count in Clinton County increased by two to 75.
