HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Wednesday reported 3,584 new COVID-19 cases statewide.

The state said there are 2,956 hospitalized patients due to COVID-19, down 69 from Tuesday. 678 are in an intensive care unit, a drop of 16 from Tuesday.

In Clinton County 25 new cases were reported on Wednesday, bringing the total to 4,763. Centre County saw an increase of 25 on Wednesday to 20,247, while Lycoming County increased by 69 to 15,770.

The state Wednesday reported 134 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County increased by one to 73.
