COVID case update

HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Monday reported 2,919 new COVID-19 cases statewide.

The state said there are 2,919 hospitalized patients due to COVID-19, down 42 from Sunday, the fourth time in five days the number of those hospitalized across the state has decreased.

In Clinton County 10 new cases were reported on Monday, bringing the total to 4,727. Centre County saw an increase of 21 on Monday to 20,200, while Lycoming County increased by 78 to 15,662.

The state Monday reported 105 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County increased by one to 72.
