Miss North Penn-Mansfield 2021 foliage queen; CM’s Madi Meeker Miss Photogenic

FARWELL, PA – It was a whirlwind Saturday for the contestants in the 72nd annual Flaming Foliage Festival and the daylong events concluded Saturday night at the Bucktail High School where Miss North Penn-Mansfield, Alison Richelle Davey, was crowned the queen, the second pageant in a row the North Penn-Mansfield entrant has claimed the crown. Central Mountain’s Maddy Meeker was selected by the judges as Miss Photogenic.

New queen Davey is the daughter of Andrea Lee and Todd Davey of Mansfield. School activities include student council, catering club and class vice president. Her future plans include college.

Meeker, the Central Mountain entry, is the daughter of Kristine and Donald Meeker of Lock Haven. She is a member of the school’s National Honor Society and the Rotary Interact Club and active in dancing, singing, acting, painting and playing the ukulele and guitar. She plans to further her education in the field of communications/broadcasting.

Festival events related to the queen selection were condensed into one day, Saturday, due to COVID-19. The arts and crafts at the Flaming Foliage lot will continue on Sunday.
