State COVID case update
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Tuesday reported 4,019 new COVID-19 cases statewide.
The state said there are 2,882 hospitalized patients due to COVID-19, up 106 from Monday. Of those hospitalized 682 are in intensive care units, up ten from Monday; 288 reported on ventilators, up ten from the previous day.
In Clinton County 11 new cases were reported on Tuesday, bringing the total to 4,446. The 11 cases marks the lowest in the county since the same number was recorded on Sept. 28. Centre County saw an increase of 24 on Tuesday to 19,578, while Lycoming County increased by 65 to 14,794.
80 new deaths were reported by the state; the death count in Clinton County remained at 71.
