Future Queen and Escort Selected at FF Follies
Crowd enjoys local entertainment
The contestants for this year’s contest from the left are, Pauline Bloom, 3 year old daughter of Mindy & Sebastian Bloom of Renovo, Future Queen, Payton Long, Graciegh May Hyser, 3 year old daughter of Kayla Pickering & Daniel Hyser of Renovo, Future Escort, Dakoda Ricker, Braxton Casper, 4 year old son of Cheyanne Casper & Spencer Scrimshaw of Renovo, Arabella Eloise Meredith, 4 year old daughter of Colette & Douglas Meredith of South Renovo and Audrey Claire Dorey, 6 year old daughter of Eva & Keith Dorey of Renovo.
Crowned Future Royalty
The Annual Flaming Foliage Follies were held outdoors on Saturday, October 2 at the Flaming Foliage Lot in Renovo. The Follies schedule included the introduction of the festival hostesses, the 2022 Laurel representative and Miss Bucktail. The Future Queen and Future Escort contestants were in attendance and the winners announced.
This year, Payton Long, 4 year old daughter of Christine & Russell Long of North Bend was crowned the Future Flaming Foliage Queen and Dakoda Ricker, 3 years old son of Mary & Thomas Ricker of Renovo was crowned Future Escort. The new Flaming Foliage royalty will take part in the Flaming Foliage Parade being held on October 9.
Other participants included the Bucktail cheerleaders, the Homecoming Court, Turbulence routines, Charly Kepler, Terry O’Laughlin and the Bucktail Drum line.
