Lady Wildcats go 1-2 at districts

ALTOONA, PA – Central Mountain’s two representatives at the District 6 tennis tournament gave representative showings at Mansion Park in Altoona on Tuesday. Kati Kwiatek won her first contest, 6-0, 6-0, before falling in the quarterfinals while teammate Claire Long took her Shikellamy opponent to three sets before she was edged out on a third-set tie-breaker.

The Lady Wildcats will also be participating in the district doubles tourney on Tuesday, Oct. 5. There also is a final meet to be rescheduled with Jersey Shore. CM is 9-4 on the season.
