Lady Bucks down Cow Valley, 5-0

FARWELL, PA – The Bucktail girls’ tennis team picked up its second win in recent days over Cowanesque Valley. The score at the Farwell courts on Tuesday was 5-0 for the Lady Bucks; on Sept. 10 Bucktail had gone to Westfield and came home with a 4-1 win.

Singles –

#1 Kayla Probert, 6-1, 6-2

#2 Emma Poorman, 6-1, 6-2

#3 Bella English, 7-6, 6-2

Doubles –

#1 Alexis Lowery/Abby Miller, 7-6, 6-2

#2 Dakota Werts/Gigi Balchun, 6-2, 6-4

For English it was a revenge win, having been defeated in three sets last week at Cowanesque Valley.

The Lady Bucks will be right back in action Wednesday, hosting Montgomery at 4 p.m. The Lady Raiders are the only team to defeat Bucktail so far in a 6-1 start for the Lady Bucks.
