Eberhard said, “We are proud to present to the Western Clinton Sportsmen’s Association this year’s BUDSTOCK Community Spirit Award. The Western Clinton Sportsmen’s Association has been a part of our community since it was established in 1927.

For almost 100 years this organization has been involved with and helped promote their community. While it may have started as a hunting and fishing club, over the years they have evolved to include all forms of outdoor enthusiasm and entertainment while promoting a healthy, productive attitude toward the forests, mountains, and waterways that are part of our shared heritage. Here’s hoping they will continue to do so for another100 years and longer.”

Tim Reeves, vice president of BUDSTOCK board of directors, in the presenting of the Scholarship awards stated, “In the development of BUDSTOCK one thing we wanted to do is to have the opportunity to encourage young people to continue to pursue their interest in music. To that end this year we are offering two scholarships to two local students.” Charly Kepler and Willie Steele were chosen for the Scholarship Awards.
