Recently retired and moved back to my home area of Renovo to the family farm in Shintown.
While living in Altoona, I served on the Commonwealth’s Transportation Advisory Board for over 20 years and learned a good deal about transportation issues such as seat belt legislation, etc.
Would it not be more convenient and most importantly safer to make 4th Street one way North from Huron Avenue to Erie Avenue for use of the post office deposit mailbox on the post office side of 4th Street?
Not aware of what local issues or problems that may impact.
It would involve the cost of a few signs.
