Ranck nominated for Lock Haven City Council
LOCK HAVEN, PA – City resident Brandon Ranck will be on the November ballot as a Democrat running for Lock Haven City Council.
Ranck recently received a nomination from the Clinton County Democratic Party following the resignation of sitting council member Bill Mincer earlier this summer. As Ranck explained in his social media posting on the subject, as the primary was over and there was a council resignation, the party was allowed to nominate someone for the ballot. After an interview with the local party’s executive committee, Ranck said, “I’m proud that they have chosen me for this nomination.”
Ranck said his facebook page will be active with campaign updates and events throughout the city including some meet and greet opportunities. As for his candidacy, he said, “I strive to bring a young, fresh mindset to the council of The City of Lock Haven and will remain focused on transparency, fiscal responsibility, and fostering growth.”
Ranck is a Jersey Shore native, a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is general manager of the Goodwill Industries International stores at Clinton Plaza in Lock Haven and on Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township.
