Good job PRR …
Kudos are certainly in order for the PRR group whose members have been working hard with a town wide cleanup this week, getting ready for the upcoming annual Flaming Foliage Festival. Several prisoners were also helping with the cleanup work. The work started Monday morning and was going strong on Tuesday as well.

Heritage Mixer a success …
The Heritage Park Mixer – an evening of music, dancing and games held Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Sons of Italy proved to be a fun filled night and very successful event for the Heritage Park. . Many showed, many danced and finger foods were served and enjoyed. Music was by Bud and the Dynamics. Quite a few people were lucky bidders on a variety of theme baskets and services donated by local businesses. The mixer was organized in a large part by Gail Lutz, Alice Tarr and Rich Wykoff and assisted by other Heritage Park committee members.

93 and counting …
Speaking of the mixer, Paul “Flip” and Jan Mills and friends and relatives were among those who enjoyed the dance and party Saturday. Among their relatives was their Aunt Ruth, who at 93 may have been the eldest among attendees. Nephew Flip also entertained the party goers with a song.

The Mystery Woman is …
Rumor has it, not a clue if it’s true, but I believe the “mystery woman” who has presented lovely handmade gifts to business owners and others recently is none other than Patt Lundfelt of North Bend. I’m surmising this because I’m the lucky recipient of a lovely homemade afghan made by Patt. The afghan is really appreciated, especially this evening as I have it wrapped around my shoulders. Saves turning the thermostat up higher
