Scouts help fold American flags at Triangle Park
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The American flags are gone from Lock Haven’s Triangle Park for another year after another successful Memorial Day presentation from the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven.
This year the club received some expert volunteer assistance in the proper care needed in stowing away the better than 90 American flags: Scouts from Woolrich Troop 66 B and G and Pack 54, along with other helpers, folded the American flags that were placed in Triangle Park for Memorial Day. The first thing a Scout is taught in Scouting is how to properly fold an American Flag.
A spokesperson said Troop 66 is always open to service hours. The troop may be contacted at scoutsbsatroop66@gmail.com or visit Scoutsbsatroop66.org
